I’ve just reviewed a paper in the Clinical information systems domain, where BPMN and DMN were used for modeling of processes and decisions involved in initiating birth control according to the CDC’s MEC for birth control initiation with the objective to incorporate them into an electronic health records (EHR) system. Authors conclude that BPMN and DMN can be used to “successfully create models for clinical pathways”.
It is always great to see on how BPMN and DMN is gradually gaining attention and broadening its application area. Cheers!
