I am honored for having performed an invited lecture to the staff and students of National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute”. The topic of the lecture was related to the management of IT in Enterprises with the state-of-the-art framework COBIT 2019.
The online lecture was performed in MS Teams, with 50+ students and staff attending.

Department of Management and Taxation of National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” is inviting everybody to join the online lecture on IT Management by Gregor Polančič, Associate Professor of Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor (Slovenia). He is a leading researcher and practitioner in the field of Business Process Management and IT Management.
Traditionally business and economy were separated from information technology, whereas nowadays, IT become crucial in the support, sustainability, and growth of enterprises. Over the years, best-practice frameworks have been developed and promoted to assist in the process of understanding, designing, and implementing enterprise governance of information technology (EGIT). COBIT 2019 builds on and integrates more than 25 years of development in this field, not only incorporating new insights from science but also operationalizing these insights as practices. This lecture will provide fundamental insights into the management and governance of information and technology with the state-of-the-art framework COBIT 2019.
