I am thankful to the organizers of the first Data analytics forum (original Slovenian title Forum Podatkovne Analitike – FPA), which was held on the 21st of April 2022 in Ljubljana, for being one of the speakers at the event.
The objective of my speech was to introduce techniques and technologies of process mining to data analysts and to raise awareness of this key process improvement paradigm.
In the presentation, I’ve introduced the importance of improving and transforming business processes and the role of process models in managing the processes. By highlighting the weaknesses of process models, the automated evidence-based discovery of process models (i.e. process mining) was introduced.
